Asking for a deletion
Write to info@sendoff.run from the address on your SendOff account, or say which account you mean, and say what you want deleted. You can ask for all of it or for part of it. Every request is answered within 45 days, as the privacy policy sets out.
Deleting an account deletes, together:
- the account itself: your address, your password's hash and your role;
- your profile: display name, fueling goals, hour bands and notes;
- the results you wrote down on your profile page;
- the link to your Google account, if you signed in with Google;
- the link to your Facebook account, if you signed in with Facebook;
- your username, which is then kept back from anyone else for 30 days;
- your public profile and its settings, so its address stops working.
Races you made are asked about separately, because other people may be on them: say whether you want them deleted too, or handed to somebody else on the race.
What you can do yourself
- Your public profile can be switched off on your profile page at any time, and any race on it hidden one at a time.
- A Google or Facebook link can be disconnected from Account in the menu at the top of any page, signed in. It is deleted straight away, and that account stops signing you in to SendOff; your password still works.
- Results you entered can be cleared or deleted from your profile page at any time.
- A race you made can be deleted from its settings page, under Delete race.
If you signed in with Facebook
SendOff keeps two things from Facebook: your email address, which is already the address on your account, and the identifier Facebook made for your account on SendOff, which is how SendOff knows it is the same Facebook account next time. Nothing else from Facebook is asked for or kept.
To delete that identifier yourself, sign in and open Account in the menu, then Disconnect beside Facebook. You can also ask at info@sendoff.run as above. It goes with the account too, if the account is deleted.
You can also remove SendOff from Facebook: in Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, and remove SendOff. That stops Facebook signing you in to SendOff straight away. It does not tell SendOff anything, so the identifier SendOff holds stays until you disconnect it or ask for it to be deleted.
If you signed in with Google
The same, for Google: SendOff keeps Google's identifier for your Google account, which you can disconnect from Account in the menu, and which is deleted on request or with the account. Removing SendOff at myaccount.google.com/connections stops Google signing you in to SendOff.
